Dear Customers,

Thank you for being our valued customer.  KHL Trading, Inc. (“KHL”), as the exclusive importer and distributor of Air Spencer products in the U.S., has been importing Air Spencer products from Japan and distributing through United States of America for more than fifteen years. 

We at KHL have concerns of recent reports from our sources that there are fake CS-X3 air fresheners and refills with squash fragrance (“fake CS-X3”) being sold in the market.  The fake CS-X3 air fresheners look and smell very similar to the original ones.  There are minor differences between the originals and fake ones.  For examples, the fake ones have inferior quality in the paper packages, the printed colors are dull, and the fragrance diminishes quickly.  To those who are not very familiar with CS-X3, unfortunately, these minor differences are difficult to catch at first.  The fake ones, however, marked “Made in China” (see pictures: unit, refill) instead of “Made in Japan” which real CS-X3 should be because all Air Spencer products, including CS-X3 air fresheners, are made in Japan.

Air Spencer products are made by Eikosha Co., Ltd. (“Eikosha”) in Japan.  Air Spencer is a registered trademark under United States Patent and Trademark law (registration number 3238645), and anyone who produces, copies, distributes or displays Air Spencer products without permission from Eikosha or KHL is liable for trademark infringement.

We are proud of the quality of our products.  We believe we should protect the quality of our products to maintain the trust from our customers.  We will do our best to track down the routes of the fake CS-X3 and pursue legal actions.  We ask you to join our effort in eliminating this counterfeit merchandise.  Anyone who has information about companies or individuals who sell and/or carry fake CS-X3 air fresheners is encouraged to report to us as soon as possible.  Please do not hesitate to ask us for any questions.  Thank you very much for your continued support and we wish our best to your success.
